C-Type Sauce Pot
The C-Type Sauce Pot, designed in 1987 by Masahiro Mori, is an exploration of pure geometry. Made of porcelain by the famous Japanese manufacturer Hakusan, it is as lovely to use as it is to behold. It is perfect for soy sauce, but also for olive oil, balsamic vinegar or dessert sauces.
Masahiro Mori is an example of an established mid-century designer who adapted with changes in public taste but always explored new ideas with originality. His career as the creative vision for the Hakusan porcelain company established his reputation as a modernist in the 1950s, but by the 1980s he was creating designs that held their own against the best of Post-Modern design.
The C-Type Sauce Pot measures 3" diam x 3"h (not including the spout).
Made in Japan.
