Braun AW-50 Analog Wristwatch (1991)
1991 saw the release of the AW 50, which took the idea of the ‘less but better’ AW10 design and removed the numbers and the minute track, and simplified the bezel. A date function was introduced, indicated by a red chevron which would become an iconic feature of Braun watches for decades to come.
It measures 33mm square by 6.3mm thick, with a matte stainless steel case and a leather strap. With its smaller size - typical of the era but on the smaller size compared to today's styles - it is perfect for both men who prefer an understated timepiece as well as women. (For a larger size, check out the AW EVO watch).
It is made in Germany with a Swiss 3-hand movement and comes in packaging that is a replica of how it was originally presented. Like all Braun watches, it comes with a 2 year warranty.
